This notice explains how Algoriddim GmbH handles your personal data when you apply for a job with us or when we contact you about a role.

We process the information you share with us, such as your contact details, resume, and answers in the application form, as well as information from interviews, assignments, and our communication with you. We may also look at public professional profiles, such as LinkedIn or GitHub. We use this data to assess your application and run the hiring process (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If we reach out to you first, we use information from your public professional profile, based on our interest in finding the right people for our team (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You only need to fill in the required fields for us to consider your application. Please leave out sensitive information, such as details about your health, religion, or political views.
We record and transcribe video interviews with an AI notetaker, so our interviewers can focus on the conversation. The notetaker works only with what is said in the interview. It does not analyze your emotions, facial expressions, or tone of voice. You can opt out at any time through the link in your interview invitation or at the start of the interview. This has no effect on your application. Recordings and transcripts are deleted after six months at the latest. Our hiring software also uses AI to support our team, for example to summarize information and draft notes. Every hiring decision is made by a person, never by AI. We record interviews and use these AI features based on our interest in a focused and efficient hiring process (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Only the people involved in your hiring process can access your data. This may include external recruiters who support our team. We also use service providers for our applicant tracking system (Ashby), for email, calendar, and video calls (Google Workspace), and, if we make you an offer, for contracts and HR administration. They process your data only on our behalf. If you apply through a job platform such as LinkedIn, we may share the status of your application with that platform.
Ashby and some of its service providers process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. If you'd like a copy of these safeguards, just contact us.
We keep your data for six months after the hiring process ends. This lets us show that our hiring process was fair and in line with equal treatment laws (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). After that, we delete or anonymize it. If you agree to join our talent pool, we keep your profile for up to 24 months (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If we hire you, the data needed for your employment moves to your personnel file.
Our job board is hosted by Ashby and uses cookies according to your choices in the cookie banner.
You can ask us for access to your data, and to correct, delete, or restrict it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Right to object: Where we process your data based on our legitimate interests, including interview recordings, you can object at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
